Fall Bighorn Sheep Hunts
Guided Bighorn sheep hunts in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada.
Bighorn sheep hunting is one of our favorite hunts. It is challenging both physically and mentally, and yet very rewarding.
The sheep season opens on the first of September and ends on October 15th. We also have tags for elk and mule deer. Ask us for dates to combine with our guided Bighorn sheep hunts.
Fall Bighorn Sheep Hunting
An Autumn Guided Big Game Hunting Adventure in the Alberta Rockies
Saddle Mountain Outfitters operates in a part of the Forest Land Use Zone in the Rocky Mountains. Our Fall Bighorn Sheep hunting is done old school with horses and hiking to make your trip a true adventure in the Alberta Wilderness.
Your guide, Neil Beeman, can customize your Guided Bighorn Sheep hunts to suit your needs. Generally, we like to allow 12 days of hunting for each sheep hunt. Usually the sheep hunter will have the camp all to themselves. For the last few years, we have only been taking three sheep hunters a year. This allows us to concentrate all of our efforts on the success of each hunter, one by one. Sometimes that means there are two guides for every hunter, and we find that this increases our success rates.
Elk & Mule Deer
We also have tags for elk and mule deer. So if your looking for a combination hunt, ask us about dates and availability to make this work with your Bighorn hunt.
